Rob Read is Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK's Chief Operating Officer and has launched or managed many of Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK's campaigns including: the Scottish Seal Defence Campaign 2014-2015, Operation Bloody Fjords 2016-2020, Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK's Marine Debris Campaign 2013-2020, Operation Infinite Patience 2016-2017, Operation 404 2017-2018, Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK's Ghostnet campaign 2018-2020, Operation Mjolnir 2018 in Iceland as well as engaging in various reconnaissance work by boat and land around Scotland and the Faroe Islands.

Rob adds to the Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK Education team by offering talks, or participating in debates at Universities or other Tertiary Education sites around the UK as he has an Honours Degree in Environmental Science and previously worked at a postgraduate University for 13 years.
